SingTel and Facebook Launch New Mobile Site 0.facebook.com, a free way to access Facebook on Your Mobile Phone.
Facebook’s 0.facebook.com site is optimized for speed – it is a new faster, lightweight version of Facebook’s mobile site m.facebook.com. The text-only site does not have graphics or photos and 0.facebook.com’s pages have been designed for high-speed performance on SingTel’s network. Photos posted on Facebook are only one click away from 0.facebook.com. To view a photo, a user only needs to click on a link to the photo and they will be prompted that they are leaving 0.facebook.com. Standard data charges will apply when a person leaves 0.facebook.com to view photos.
What’s more, SingTel waives standard data charges for browsing the site. (It should not cost much as they are mainly text)
Sad to say, 0.facebook.com can only be access by SingTel subscribers. Starhub and M1 is unable to access 0.facebook.com.
I’ve tried accessing it using my dad mobile, it is definitely much faster than m.facebook.com. For facebookers who like to catch up with the latest news in their facebook, I would recommend this only if you are SingTel subscribers.
Perhaps SingTel and Facebook can comes out with a light weight apps for Android and iPhone to make things easier for us.
PS: Not much saving for us anyway because we have 12GB of data, but I like the fast 3G internet access to facebook. I can also access 0.facebook.com using Singnet broadband.

Incorporate Physical Activity into Your Work Breaks for Better Health
It has been sometimes after lunch. Time to do some light exercise in your own cubicle.
According to research done by the University of South Carolina and highlighted in the New York Times, a game of tennis and a jog after work every day doesn’t undo sitting at your terminal for 8 hours.
Just as research say, perhaps you would like to do some light exercise at your own cubicle and maybe you would like to follow the video below.
Hope it helps and don’t mind about the ads in the youtube, I don’t earn anything from it. Please read more on the source below to find out more to gain better health.

Is this really true? Gay read more blogs.
Does this means that most of people I’ve been talking to are gay or lesbian?
Quoted from Straits Times
GAYS and lesbians are more frequent blog readers than their heterosexual counterparts and are more likely to be members of a social network, according to a survey released on Tuesday.
I will just take it with a pinch of salt. Anyway the data is as accurate as Washington, US, might not be true in Singapore.
PS: Carrying on reading, I won’t suspect whether you are one or not. Not I say one huh. It is from Straits Times.

Here might be a little tip for Apple users.
When shopping for an AppleCare protection plan, check out Amazon resellers first.
You’re bound to save on the official Apple price.
Search out your Apple product and AppleCare on Amazon, and you’ll find a number of Marketplace vendors offering up AppleCare protection plans at sometimes steep discounts—$100 off, in the case of a 15/17-inch MacBook Pro plan. It’s not Amazon itself selling, and definitely not Apple, so you’ll want to do a small bit of legitimacy checking. But Amazon’s generally a safer bet than an eBay buy, and is often easier to search and filter.

I’ve got to know this news quite early where Sony launches NEX 3 & 5. It was during that period when Sony showcase a dummy HD Camcorder with interchangeable E-Mount lenses.
So here we go Sony NEX-VG10.
I don’t think I am capable of reviewing this, I’m still learning how to handle a camera well. However having said that, Sony interface is usually consumer base and it should be user friendly and easy to operate.
I will share more on this if I can get my hands on Sony NEX-VG10.
I saw this clip posted in facebook yesterday. Even through I love dogs but sometimes they really need to be train. However, the lady should not hit the dog on its head and she should not hit it so many times. I was caned if I did something wrong when I was young. I don’t see the wrong in doing so, and of course there is a limit to it. I cannot say whether she is right or wrong it is up the judge to place the judgment.
What puzzle me is why is she being videoed in the first place and who video her? It must be her family members I presume since it is in her house.
Assume you are her relative staying together, how does it feel when your relative is being fined for abusing pets when you post the video for fun? Is this what you wanted?
There should be ways in handling this matter internally and talking to her might helps. What’s more you are just videoing and not doing anything.
Moral of the story: Think twice what you put online. There is consequence in what we do.

PS: I view this from the person videoing point. Not so much on the lady hitting the dog since her judgement has been made by netizen in facebook.
Saw this futuristic mouse in Engadget and it is really interesting how the mouse is design and ergonomically fit into notebook user. It works just like a holding a pen.

I have received a call from a telemarketer namely Wendy (not her real name) from Idea Connection.
Nowadays most companies engage telemarketer to open new business from their company which is a good way of promoting.
However, in this cases that I had encountered which I believe many encounter it as well, is that some are simply rude. This lady just hangs up the call once I told her politely that I am not interested in taking the survey.
One suggestion for companies, who engage telemarketer, is to train them to be polite when they are calling customers or customers to be. Whether it is for survey or to request for appointment, at the very least, the person on the other hand will be please after listening.
