My previous encounter with HTC Support is when I first get my HTC Hero and I have to travel all the way down to Harbourfront Service Center to try to get it repair. Since it is still within 7 days from purchase, I am able to get a 1 to 1 exchange from their vendor which requires me to travel to Leng Kee Road SIS Building to get it done. So much time had been wasted travelling.
Recently my HTC Hero mobile has got some screen issue and so I tried out HTC Support Courier Service. A courier is suppose to collect the mobile from me within a given time, but as my job nature requires me to travel around Singapore it is really difficult for me to arrange a perfect time with them and I do not want to wait for them in the arrange location, One Raffles Quay, for their arrival. I called the customer service again to ask for the exact timing they are coming, which they cannot tell me. Lucky the courier guy called me after I finish lunch with Lester and Justin Lee at the Central, and he is just somewhere nearby Central and collect it from me while I am having tea with Justin Lee at TCC. Pretty lucky huh.

Come across this meaningful advertisement which makes me think about my childhood. When we are young, there are many things that we do not think about it and we just do it to make it works. Over the years, we tend to think more and adding more doubts into what we are doing especially when we have to sacrifice time or money for it.

Take some time (about 3 minutes) to watch this clip, it might give you more ideas or encouragement to do things right.

This reminds me of Nike, just do it.

It has been long since I had last posted in my blog. I have been quite busy adapting with new job scope lately which takes up most of my time.

As my work requires me to travel around Singapore most of the time it makes it even harder for me to tweet at times.

Anyway, if any of you are around Raffles or Plaza Singapura, we can always meet up for lunch or drinks as I’ll be in these places most of the time.

StarCraft II Wings of Liberty

StarCraft II Wings of Liberty

StarCraft II – Wings of Liberty is one of the long waited games for many gamers. Funan Digital Mall was packed with 10,000 people queuing inside Funan, outside Funan and around Funan because they want to ease their excitement of the 12 Years wait and to be the first few to own StarCraft II – Wings of Liberty.

I still remember my Secondary school days where me and my friends upgraded to Magix Boardband just to play StarCraft. We used to be that crazy enough to spend our money on the expensive Boardband (which is more than S$100 during that time) just for StarCraft. How time flies.

Back to Wings of Liberty.

Here is something that you might be interested in for a good (non-laggy) gaming experience:

Blizzard had open an Southeast Asia office in Singapore and they also had a Southeast Asia game server in Singapore. This is one of the great news for Singapore Gamers.

What does this mean? It means that Singapore will have faster access to the gaming server unlike the past where we need to access US server which might occasionally slow the game or got lag out easily.

Furthermore, they also offered to us (our region only) 2 different access to US gaming servers and SEA gaming servers for StarCraft II – Wings of Liberty. Singapore is one of the few who will be getting 2 different gaming platforms for their gaming experiences. This is a great 2 in 1 offer for Singapore Gamers.

A little thing to note, StarCraft II comes in 3 parts, and the current launch is the base game, Wings of Liberty and the other 2 expansion packs, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. Each version of StarCraft II will have over 30 missions, more than double compared to StarCraft.
