Two years ago, Lady Gaga came to Singapore to launch AMPed. Today, to celebrate the second anniversary of AMPed, Lady Gaga will perform an exclusive showcase tonight for more than 3,000 SingTel customers.
SingTel also announced AMPed 2.0, allowing music lovers to discover, enjoy and share great music like never before. Knowing Singaporeans are passionate about music and that is why AMPed is such a vital part of SingTel multimedia strategy.
AMPed 2.0 offers high quality streaming of complete songs to mobile phones and computers. Consumers can start listening to songs in an instant without waiting for them to download. Furthermore favorite tracks and recommendations can be shared through Facebook, Twitter and AMPed’s own social network platform.
New playlist sharing feature allows everyone and anyone to be a DJ and grow their very own fan club.
AMPed 2.0 will be available in September 2011.

More than 2000 SingTel customers will be invited to see Lady Gaga in SingTel exclusive showcase on 7th July 2011.
Couple of days ago, Victor was telling me how great is SingTel AMPed app in iPhone. There are many enhancement which improve the user interface.
Recently, SingTel boosts AMPed music service library to 2 million tracks with EMI and Warner catalogues. Popular artistes such as Bruno Mars, Linkin Park, Katy Perry, Madonna, Derrick Hoh, Jolin Tsai and Jam Hsiao is now downloadable via SingTel AMPed
AMPed is the only unlimited music download service in Singapore. Customers can enjoy money-can’t-buy experiences such as exclusive showcases, autograph signings and meet-and-greet sessions with the stars.
The service is available at no cost to customers on SingTel 3G Flexi and iFlexi plans. Customers can browse and download songs to their hearts’ content, on their mobile devices and PCs, without incurring data charges. It is also the first service in Singapore to offer 15 Digital Rights Management (DRM)-free music for customers to keep every month and is available on more than 80 mobile handsets on the iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7 and Symbian platforms.
Customers who sign up for SingTel’s Broadband on Mobile service at $9.90 per month for 200MB of data usage, will also enjoy AMPed at no charge.
Downloading 15 songs a month @ $9.90 is like buying an album every month. Furthermore, there is unlimited songs that can be played on AMPed application. Pretty good deal.
I should switch over to SingTel soon when my contract ends.
